The junior races start at 11.00 (please allow 15mins to sign in and pay before the start of your race) and the senior race at 11.45 -last registration to collect number at 11.15 for seniors and 10.45 for juniors.
The cost is £5 for seniors and £2 for juniors. Please bring cash, we have a card payment system but just in case....
NOTE: The online registration for Scout Scar will close at midnight on the 4th of Jan 2024 to allow us time to prepare the race numbers. There will be no paper Entry on the Day at any race - you must sign up online the day before the race.

If we need to cancel a race due to severe weather including poor road conditions for travelling to a race or conditions on the fell we will post on Twitter and this website by 7:30am on race day or sooner.
We are delighted that decorators Different Strokes will again be supporting this year's Winter League Series, and we are very grateful for their continued support of grass roots fell running.
We are also excited to announce that Pete Bland sports will also be supporting the series. Pete Bland Sports will be working with Helm Hill throughout the year and this includes the Winter League and other races which the Club organises. The Pete Bland van will be at selected races (details to be confirmed) and this is a great opportunity to support our local running shop. A big thanks to Matt Bland and the team for their help!!
Kit requirements – ALL runners need to bring and carry the following kit. Seniors – full waterproof body cover, hat & gloves, whistle. Juniors – waterproof jacket, hat & gloves.
A polite reminder that due to landowners' specific requests, dogs are not permitted at winter league races. We have to negotiate access each year, so please help by not bringing your dogs to ensure these races can continue.
All races are flagged and open to all (no need to be a member of Helm Hill or any running club). Senior race distance anything from 2 - 5 miles, from hard cross-country to gnarly (but low-level) fells. Junior races are shorter. Junior races; U13 followed by U15/U17 to be run at the same time on separate courses), and senior race follows. 7 races from 11 to count for senior series, 5 from 11 for junior series - points mean prizes. See individual race pages for more info on each race. Please note Arant Haw does not count for the series results in either juniors or seniors.
Please note race organisers may shorten courses or impose cut-off times should conditions dictate for the safety of marshals and runners.
Please share cars where you can, as parking is limited at all races.
In competing in any race you accept the hazards involved in fell running and run at your own risk. The organisers accept no liability for any loss or damage of any nature to yourself or property.
